Privacy Policy — SmartCalc
Last updated: October 14, 2026
SmartCalc (“the app”) is an offline-first all-in-one calculator suite. This policy explains what data the app collects and how it is used. This version matches the no-ads release submitted to Google Play (version 2.0) and the app’s Data safety declaration: no data collected, no data shared.
1. Data stored on your device
The following never leave your device and are stored only in the app’s private storage:
- Calculator history, favorites, and pinned tools
- Step counts, daily goals, and step history (step-sensor data is processed on-device only)
- Reminders and notes you create
- PDF files and QR codes you create or scan
- App settings (theme, sound, units, currency preferences)
No account is required. We do not operate servers that receive this data, and we do not collect, share, or sell any personal data.
2. Advertising
This release of the app contains no advertising and uses no advertising identifiers or third-party tracking.
3. Permissions we request
- Activity recognition — only to count your steps when you enable the step counter.
- Notifications — only to deliver step milestones, reminders, and the Good Morning notification you enable.
- Alarms & reminders — to fire reminders at the times you choose.
- Camera — only when you choose to scan a QR/barcode.
- Internet — core features work fully offline; the app does not send your data anywhere.
4. Data safety
We do not collect, share, or sell personal data. Because no data is sent to us, there is no server-side data about you to delete; uninstalling the app removes the data stored on your device.
5. Children
The app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
6. Changes
We may update this policy; the current version will always be posted at this page. If a future version of the app adds advertising or online features, this policy will be updated before that version is released.
